In your own space, tell us about 3 fandom resources, spaces, or communities you use or enjoy. (One or two is fine, especially if you're in a smaller fandom!) Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.
Alright then! *opens bookmarks*
- I haven't been spending much time on DW lately, so I don't know where all the activity is happening, but both
fandomcalendar and
fandom_on_dw are great for announcements of challenges, fests, new communities, etc. It's a good place to start if you like creative events.
recthething is a great place to look for recs or chat about what you've been reading/looking at.
- Flamebyrd's Bookmarklets - I've only tried a couple of these, but there's lots of useful stuff for making your AO3 experience a bit smoother.
- Carene Waterman's Bookmarklets - you know that annoying bug that puts extra paragraphs in a fic? The StripEmpties bookmarklet will get rid of them so you can read without ridiculous amounts of scrolling. I use it all the time.
- The 100 Words Prompt Generator - sometimes I use it when I'm stuck for ideas or just need an excuse to noodle around.
unconventionalcourtship's Random Pairing Generator, which uses summaries from romance novels but the names of fandom characters
- I'm not going to include writing advice or we'll be here all day, but there's a special place in my heart for Doris Egan's essay Potato Chips, which is all about unabashedly writing for your id, whatever that might be.

Thanks for sharing and joining in Snowflake!
